NDNU Argonauts Invitational Final Results
 
LIVERMORE, Calif. – In Tuesday's final round of play, Academy of Art men's golf posted their best round of the tournament to jump five spots and tie for 10th out of 18 teams.
 
ART U posted an overall score of 911, 41 behind first-place California Baptist. The Lancers had two players finish in the top 10, including Tervor Lampson who won the individual title after never shooting above par.
 
Junior Oskar Frick had a big day on Tuesday, using six birdies to finish with 69 strokes (-3) which was tied for the best score out of any individual in the third round. Frick's efforts paid off as he rose 10 spots in the standings to finish tied for eighth. Sophomore Lawrence Liang came in second for the Urban Knights posting a 78, 75, and 75 in rounds one through three respectively to finish tied for 36th. Senior Daniel Cosgrove tied for 47th after posting his best round of the tournament on Tuesday (70) and was the Knights' third lowest scorer.

"I was very excited for the team's performance today," said head coach Andy Moren. "This was definitely one of our best final rounds of the season...This team has a lot of ability and they give a lot of effort in practice. It was as if they were fed up with where they were finishing in tournaments and decided to just dig deeper. I hope this will serve as motivation to finish off the year strong."
 
Academy of Art will now return home to prepare for their final tournament of the regular season which will take place April 3-4 at the Mustang Intercollegiate Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz.
