2017 PacWest Men's Golf Championship Final Results
KAHUKU, Hawaii – Academy of Art men's golf wrapped up the 2017 PacWest Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday with a score of 305 strokes. The Urban Knights finished the tournament with 893 strokes overall to place ninth.

Freshman
Gabriel De Leon Manotoc was ART U's highest scorer as he finished the Championship with 222 strokes, placing him in a tie for 22nd.
"Gabriel was a big help to our team this spring," said head coach
Andy Moren. "His contributions helped us in almost every tournament he played. I am really looking forward to the player that he can become."
Manotoc's 75 strokes in the final round were matched by senior
Daniel Cosgrove. The Trim, Ireland native closed out the tourney just two strokes behind Manotoc with 224 overall. Sophomore
Lawrence Liang came next on the stat sheet, tying for 35th overall and shot a 78 in Wednesday's final round. Junior
Oskar Frick rounded out the Knights' top four scorers with a 77-stroke final round. With a score of 226 overall, Frick finished the tournament in 38th-place.
"I believe the team was poised for a solid tournament," said Moren. "Everyone was confident in their game, but unfortunately, we just couldn't get things to go our way in the last round."

With the season now at a close, the Urban Knights will return to San Francisco where they will begin preparations for the fall of 2017. Â
