Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout Final Results
PLEASANTON, Calif. – Academy of Art began day two of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout with a pair of holes still to play. Nonetheless, the Urban Knights rolled right into the final round, putting together their best overall score of the tournament (298), tying for 12th with Cal State East Bay.

ART U's top scorer was freshman
Matthew Watkins who followed up his first round of 73 with a pair of 75s to tie for 23rd out of 96 individuals. Next was sophomore
Gabriel De Leon Manotoc (T34) who put forth his best score in the final round, shooting an even, 72. Junior
Lawrence Liang came in third for the Urban Knights, tying for 52nd with 232 strokes overall. Rounding out ART U's scorers was freshman
Tommy Nguyen whose 75 in the final round was five strokes lower than his second round, and nine strokes better than his first. Nguyen finished in 78th-place with 239 strokes.

Now, after two tournaments within the span of a week, Academy of Art will not compete until March 19 when they head to Goose Creek Golf Club for the Lancer Joust.
