Concordia Invitational Day One Results
PORTLAND, Ore. – Junior
Julius Kreutzer finished the first day of the Concordia Invitational at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club tied for first after shooting a six-under-par 136 on day one. As a team, Academy of Art ended the day in sixth, with a cumulative score of 580.Â
Kreutzer started the day by tying the best single-round score in ART U program history by shooting 5-under-par 66 in round one. His impressive round placed the Urban Knights tied for second after the first round. Kreutzer followed up with a 1-under-par 70 in round two. His 11 birdies between the two rounds was third most in the 76 golfer field.
Senior
Otto Homruen also shot a 1-under-par 70 in the second round, to end his day tied for 21st with a cumulative 4-over-par 146. Junior
Zhane Chan finished tied for 36th after improving three strokes in round two with a 2-over-par 73 and a total score of 149. Rounding out the scorers was junior
Matthew Watkins in a tie for 45th. Watkins fired a 2-over-par 73 in the first round and a 4-over-par 77 in the second.Â
Academy of Art will return to the links of the Columbia Edgewater Country Club tomorrow morning to wrap their penultimate tournament of the fall as they look to improve on their sixth place positioning.
