2019 PacWest Conference Championship Round Two Results
LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. -- The Urban Knights improved one stroke in round two of the PacWest Championship Tuesday morning, shooting 298 as a team to maintain their third place positioning. The Urban Knights are tied with UH Hilo with a cumulative score of 597, eight strokes behind second place Holy Names, and nine strokes behind first place Dominican who held their top spot with a round two score of 292 to put them at 588 overall. Dominican's Nick Rivera leads the individuals with his 142 (-2). Â
Juniors
Gabriel De Leon Manotoc and
Otto Homruen are tied for fifth and lead ART U with a cumulative score of 145 (+1). Homruen improved five strokes from his day one performance, shooting a 70 (-2) for the best ART U round of the tournament thus far. Senior
Oskar Frick came in third for the Knights with his 156 across two rounds and sophomore
Matthew Watkins secured the final scoring spot with a 75 (+3), a seven stroke improvement from round one. Senior
Lawrence Liang is tied with Watkins in 30th with a score of 157.
Academy of Art enters the final day of competition in their highest position ever after two rounds and will look to close the tournament strong to secure the best placement at the PacWest Championship in ART U men's golf history.
