Sonoma State Spring Invite Day One Results

SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- Another great start from Academy of Art women's golf perched the Urban Knights atop the leader board with a cumulative score of 298 (+10) after the first day of the Sonoma State Spring Invite Monday at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club. The first place team is led by the first place individual, sophomore Anahi Servin, who shot a 70 (-2) in the first round.

Servin had a fantastic day, shooting even or better on every hole. Her 16 pars led the field, as did her (-1) on par-4 holes. Coming off a hole-in-one and her best finish of the spring at the Mustang Intercollegiate freshman Nattavadee "Baipor" Khunsri had another solid round, ending with a 74 (+2) tied for fourth place. Junior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo scored third for the Urban Knights, firing a 75 (+3) to tie for 12th. Rounding out the scorers for ART U was Elan Hawkins who sits tied for 31st after shooting a 79 (+7).

Academy of Art will be back on the links of the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club tomorrow starting at 8:30 a.m. where they will look to maintain their top spot and win their first tournament of the spring.
