PacWest Conference Weekly Awards (Mar. 6)

IRVINE, Calif. – After shooting a 3-under-par at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, Academy of Art women's golf junior Iveta Posledni has been named the Pacific West Conference Golfer of the Week for March 6. It is the second PacWest weekly honor of her career.
 
Posledni carded the best round of her career on Monday to begin the tournament, turning in a 4-under-par 68 to take the individual lead by three strokes. After a 1-over-par 73 in round two, Posledni would finish in second place, and was the driving force in helping the Urban Knights to a third-place finish as a team.
 
The first weekly award in Posledni's career came last year on Feb. 14, 2019. The Urban Knights will return to the links on March 9 when the tee off in the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational from the Shadowridge Country Club.
