PacWest Conference Weekly Awards (Feb. 25)
IRVINE, Calif. – Academy of Art women's golf junior
Anahi Servin was named the Pacific West Conference Co-Golfer of the Week along with Alli Kim of Point Loma, as the duo shot identical scores of 2-under-par 142 to tie for first place at the Bay Area Invitational earlier this week at Monarch Bay Golf Club. The award is for rounds played from Feb. 17-23.
Servin quickly resumed where she left off last season,
tying for first in the first action of the year for the Urban Knights. After opening round one with a 1-over-par 73, the junior turned in the lowest round of the tournament (along with Kim) on the final day with a 3-under-par 69.
The round included four birdies, two of which were back-to-back to close out the 17th and 18th holes. It was the first tournament win for Servin since she captured first at the 2019 PacWest Championships, and is the seventh tournament win in her career.
It is an astounding ninth PacWest weekly honor in her career,
having won the award in each year of competition, including four times as a freshman and three times as a sophomore. It is the first weekly honor ART U women's golf has received in the young season.
