Men's Golf Adds On Zach DuBourdieu For Spring Season

SAN FRANCISCO – Adding on a new piece to the Academy of Art men's golf program for the 2025 spring season, Head Coach Joe Dolby has announced the signing of Zach DuBourdieu (Carlsbad, Calif./Chaminade).

Zach DuBourdieu"We are really excited to have Zach join our team this Spring," Dolby said. "He was a strong and consistent starter for Chaminade the past two years, and the passion and competitiveness that he displayed when we played with him in the past will be real strengths when he gets plugged in with our team culture."

A junior transfer from another Pacific West Conference school in Chaminade, DuBourdieu joins the Urban Knights after being with the Silverswords in their last two seasons. With a scoring average of 76.8 and a low-round of 68 that tied the single-round school record, the transfer additionally earned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar and All-PacWest Academic awards in his most recent season. DuBourdieu held the team-low of 78.32 shots per round in his first collegiate season, and tied for 22nd at the PacWest Championship Tournament.

"He is a strong ball-striker, hits the ball a long way, takes great care of his fitness by pushing himself in the gym, and is a strong student as well," Dolby said. "With our strong start to the fall season, we believe we are one piece away from challenging for the PacWest Championship this year, and Zach is a perfect fit to help push us over the top. "
