CSUSM Fujikura Invitational (Final Results)

VISTA, Calif. – On Tuesday afternoon, Academy of Art men's golf closed out the third and final round of the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, finishing the tournament with a 78-over-par 942 over the course of the three-round invite.

Senior Giulio Zanichelli came out ahead of the Knights and 13 other Pacific West Conference golfers, finishing his own three rounds with a 9-over-par 225, tied for 27th place overall. Junior Zach DuBourdieu collected the second spot on ART U's leaders, totaling a 16-over-par 232. Freshman Kok Siew "Andy" Chew was next up on the Urban Knights, obtaining a 22-over-par 238, while freshman Mario Stump closed out the team score with his 31-over-par 247. Senior Anson Pan closed the team out with his 35-over-par 251.

Running away with the team win was St. Mary's (Tex.), as their overall score of 11-under-par 853 saw their top four golfers within the top eight placements in the individual leaderboard, led by the champion in Kongpop Kaikaew who collected a 5-under-par 211.

ART U's next time out on the course will be on Thursday, Mar. 6 as the Knights will open up their play at the Nighthawk Invitational at Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, Calif.
