SAN FRANCISCO – Preparing for the future of the Academy of Art men's golf program, Head Coach
Joe Dolby has announced the signing of Tristan Kolasinski (Kobylanka, Zachodniopomorskie, Poland/Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School) to be the second incoming member of the 2025-26 class, joining
Sam Cooper.
"Tristan is going to come in and help our team right away this Fall," Dolby said. "We have big shoes to fill with the departure of Giulio and Anson, and Tristan brings a lot of tournament experience from the Polish National Team, while he is a very good athlete and hits the ball a long way, all of which will help us reload our talent quickly. He is bright and mature, and has a clear plan in place to reach his goal of playing professional golf in Europe following his college career, so we are excited to enable him in his development towards that goal."
As an incoming freshman with a current WAGR ranking of 3218, Kolasinski additionally holds a European ranking of 3877, while he's No. 12 in Poland. Kolasinski has been a member of the Polish National Team for six years, as he represented Poland in the European Boys Team Championship as well. In the 2023 Polish Junior Match Play Championship, Kolasinski finished second place overall, collected two top-five finishes in the Polish Junior Championship, and a top-10 finish in the German Junior Championship all while he holds a career-low competitive round of 65.
"I can't wait to compete and train with the ART U golf team," Kolasinski said. "I'm convinced that I will broaden my knowledge and golf skills."
Kolasinski will enter the School of Advertising at Academy of Art as a freshman this coming Fall.
