NCAA Division II West/South Central Regionals Final Results

ST. GEORGE, Utah -- Junior Gabriel De Leon Manotoc closed out his second career NCAA Regionals appearance with a solid third round, shooting an even 72 to end tied for 30th with a cumulative score of 1-over-par 217.

"This has been a year of many positives," said head coach Andy Moren. "To cap it off with another solid performance from Gabe at Regionals made it even better. I am very proud of all the guys on this team, especially the seniors who have helped to push our program in the right direction."

Manotoc ends his Regionals appearance as the fifth highest placed individual. Colorado Christian's Chase Carlson won the individual title with his cumulative score of 12-under-par 204 and Dixie State protected their top spot for the team championship. The top four teams: Dixie State, UC San Diego, Cal State Monterey Bay, and Sonoma State will advance to the NCAA D2 National Championship.

"It has been great to see the players on our team continue to push our program forward," said Moren. "Each and every year there is more and more optimism for what we know we can accomplish."
