2021 Academy of Art Invitational (Full Results)
NAPA, Calif. – Playing host to the Academy of Art Invitational, ART U women's golf saw one of its own walk away with the individual tournament victory, as junior
Anahi Servin captured her third tournament win of the season by shooting a 16-over-par 160 to win by three strokes. Her performance helped the Urban Knights to a second place finish as a unit, combing to shoot a 109-over-par 685 at the Silverado Resort under extremely tough and windy conditions.

That now marks four consecutive top-2 finishes for Servin, having
won her first two times out before finishing as
the runner up at the NNU Nighthawks Invitational on Mar. 9. While the tough conditions forced high scores for nearly all competitors, Servin battled through to recorded the most pars (20) in the tournament as well as post the best par-4 combined score (8-over-par). Meanwhile, teammate and fellow junior
Iveta Posledni also finished inside the top-10 in a tie for seventh place, registering her second top-10 finish of the season by tying for seventh at 24-over-par 168. Together, the junior duo helped the Knights to second place, trailing only behind the team champions Sonoma State (78-over-par 654).
Freshman
Valeria Ruiz also posted a top-15 finish, ending her tournament in 14th place at 34-over-178 with a total of six pars in her final round. Rounding out the scoring was the freshman duo of
Tessa Geenen and
Napat "Plern" Rattanaprakarn, as the pair tied for 15th place at 35-over-par 179.
Just one tournament remains for ART U prior to the PacWest Championships, as the Urban Knights will return to action next Monday when they tee off at the Sonoma State Spring Invitational from Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
