PacWest Conference Weekly Awards (March 21)

IRVINE, Calif. -- For the second time in as many weeks junior Gabriel De Leon Manotoc is PacWest Golfer of the Week as announced Thursday afternoon by the Pacific West conference. The award comes after a strong performance at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on March 19th where Manotoc ended with a cumulative score of 217 (+1) for an 11th place finish.

Manotoc's best round came on day one when he shot a 70 (-2) in the second round of play. The junior Communications and Media Technologies major splits the award with Hawaii Pacific's Zach Kwan. This is Manotoc's second career PacWest Weekly Award and comes just one week after he earned his first on March 14.
