CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – After dominating the Pacific West Conference all season and then placing fourth at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championship, Academy of Art women's golf junior
Anahi Servin has earned a spot on the Women's Golf Coaches Association DII West Region Team. It is her third time being awarded the honor.
Having finished first or second place in every regular season tournament she played in, Servin had an average round score of 72.94, winning three tournaments during the regular season. First capturing the
Bay Area Invitational on Feb. 23, Sevin would also claim the
Pioneer Shootout on Mar. 2 and the
Academy of Art Invitational on Mar. 30. The No. 16 ranked golfer in the region then focused her sights on the PacWest Championship, dominating the field by nine strokes to claim her
PacWest-record third consecutive individual title. Moving on to play in the West Regional, Servin would
finish in a tie for fourth at 3-over-par 219 and clinch the final spot for a chance to play at Nationals where she is currently in a tie for 16th in the final round.
In addition to already having set the ART U record for top-10 finishes in a career with 26 (previous: 23,
Lyra Yoe), Servin now has another ART U distinction of being the only golfer in program history to be named to an WGCA DII West Region team three times in her career.
