2018-2019 WGCA NCAA Division II All-Region Awards

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- The accolades continue to roll in for sophomore Anahi Servin, who was named WGCA All-West Region as announced Monday night at a banquet at the NCAA National Championships. This is Servin's first Regional award and comes after a stellar season that culminated with a fifth place finish at the NCAA Super Regionals and a trip to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. for the NCAA National Championship.

Servin's All-West Region award comes after a stellar season in which she won individual titles at the Otter Fall Invitational, Dixie State Fall Invitational, and the PacWest Championship Tournament when she became the only player in conference history to repeat as individual champion. The repeat came on the second-best cumulative score in tournament history at 1-under-par. Servin earned three PacWest Golfer of the Week awards (Sept. 13, Oct. 4, Mar. 7) in the 2018-2019 season and consistently led an ART U team that in nine tournaments, won two championships and came runner-up six times.

A committee reviews the tournament profile of candidates and uses the following criteria to make selections (prioritized in order below):
1. Head to head competition
2. Comparison with common opponents
3. Scoring average (adjusted)
4. Place finishes in regular season events and tournament wins
5. Strength of schedule
