2020-21 WGCA All-American Scholars
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – As announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday, Academy of Art women's golf junior
Iveta Posledni and freshman
Napat "Plern" Rattanaprakarn have been named 2020-21 WGCA All-American Scholars for their work both on the course and in the classroom.

According to the WGCA, the criteria for selection be an WGCA All-American Scholar are some of the toughest in all of collegiate athletics, as the minimum grade point average requirement is a 3.50 while playing in at least 50 percent of a team's season. Out of the 1,432 student-athletes to receive the award Posledni earned a 3.62 GPA in the heralded School of Architecture while Rattanaprakarn took home a 3.78 GPA in the School of Fashion.
Over 13 rounds in the 2021 season, Posledni would post an average round score of 81.77, claiming two top-10 finishes in the process. Her tournament of the year came when
she took fourth at the NNU Nighthawks Invitational, posting her best two-round tournament score of the season with a 12-over-par 156. The following week, Posledni would
tie for seventh at the Academy of Art Invitational in extremely tough and windy conditions with a 168.
In her debut collegiate season, Rattanaprakarn had an average round score of 80.38 over 13 round, finishing her season strong with a
sixth place finish at 5-over-par 149 in the final regular season tournament of the year at the Sonoma State Spring Invite. Rattanaprakarn would carry that momentum over into the PacWest Championships, where she captured the best finish of her young career by
ending the tournament in fourth place with a 13-over-par 223, securing her spot on the PacWest All-Tournament team.
It is the first time earning the award in both the career of Posledni and Rattanaprakarn, and it is the first time an Urban Knight earned the honor since
Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo was named an
All-American Scholar her freshman season in 2016-17.
